Returns & Replacements

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase please email us at warranty@evakool.com  so that we can resolve any problems. The warranty policy does not apply to goods which have been damaged after delivery, or if any attempt has been made to alter the product not authorised by Evakool. All products must be returned in good condition. All postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the buyer. We recommend that you return the product via Registered post and that you pre pay all postage. You assume any risk of lost, theft or damaged goods during transit & therefore advise you take out shipment registration of insurance with your postal carrier. Evakool will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit if you choose not to insure.


Warranty on Second Hand Units/Units Purchased Online

The warranty provided with Evakool products is only valid for the first purchaser of the unit and only if the unit is purchased through one of Evakool's official dealer network.  Any unauthorised resellers on sites such as Ebay will not be covered by warranty and should be reported to Evakool if they are stating otherwise.  The same applies to units that are sold as second hand units in which case the warranty is non transferrable to the new owner.  The exception to this is units that are sold directly from Evakool as reconditioned units which carry a warranty as specified on the item description.  For any queries please contact warranty@evakool.com

 

Warranty on Seconds

As a result of Evakool's stringent quality control some products have, following the identification of certain visible imperfections, been graded as a factory second. These imperfections are purely aesthetic in nature and DO NOT affect the insulation properties or performance. These imperfections are NOT covered by warranty.  Seconds fridges and freezers do however carry warranty on all refrigeration components as stated on their individual product page on our website.


Evakool will authorize warranty claims if:

  • The fault occurs under normal circumstances during normal use and
  • The fault is found to be caused by defective or faulty materials or workmanship and
  • The unit has not been modified from it's factory specification other than work performed by Evakool or it's service agents and
  • The customer can provide a valid proof of purchase showing the date and retailer it was purchased from

 

The warranty does not cover transport costs and in-transit insurance costs to and from our factory and/or service agents:
